Troop 787 has a long history of providing an excellent program to our Scouts.
This history has been developed through a combination of carefully managed resources such as equipment,
trailers, etc. as well as our ability to attend many activities which other troops cannot afford.
This includes high adventure trips such as Philmont, Northern Tier and others.
Critical to our ability to participate in these activities is our ability to raise funds for the
resources of the troop and for individual scouts to earn their own way to these events.
The Fundraising Committee is responsible for the planning and execution of fundraising events which
provides these opportunities to our scouts and adult leaders.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, Assess, Plan and Execute fundraising activities which provide opportunities for the Scouts to earn money for scouting related activities.
